H.H. Giriraj Swami Maharaj
My dear devotees,
Please accept my best wishes. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
I am pleased that South Africa is continuing to publish a local Vyasa-puja book for Srila Prabhupada with offerings from all devotees. The practice of writing our sincere appreciation and gratitude to Srila Prabhupada—our realizations about our relationship with him—enhances and deepens our connection with him. It is a practice that pleased Srila Prabhupada and is something he requested of his followers.
Every year, I submit my Vyasa-puja offering for publication in the BBT’s international Vyasa-puja book as well as in the South African edition. I feel benefited by that service, and when I read the appreciations of Srila Prabhupada’s followers, I derive great inspiration. It is only by Srila Prabhupada’s grace that we—all of you and me—have come together—in Krishna consciousness. So I encourage you to honor the mercy we have received from Srila Prabhupada by writing your Vyasa-puja offerings to him. And I will be happy to read your submissions when I peruse the South African book.
Please submit your offerings to www.prabhupada.co.zaby Sunday, June 24, 2018.
Thank you very much.Hare Krishna.
May this meet you in good health and enthusiastic spirits.
Your grateful servant,
H.H. Partha Sarathi Das Goswami Maharaj
His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada is our guru, param guru and parat-para guru, which means param param-guru and the main siksa- guru in the International Society for Krishna Consciousness. It is absolutely essential that we try to develop our relationship with Srila Prabhupada in a natural and faithful way. Writing homages glorifying him can create the emotion of attachment to Srila Prabhupada, which will open the doors of liberation.
I humbly request that every grand disciple and great grand disciple of Srila Prabhupada write some words of glorification of His Divine Grace. We can share how Srila Prabhupada’s books has changed our lives and has given us new inspiration. Some of us may not feel confident to write in English as it is not our first language, but to express ourselves in words is a commitment. And we should at least try to express our appreciation. We should take advantage of this opportunity to display our commitment to the Founder-Acarya His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.
Srila Prabhupada is clearly the highest class of Vaishnava, an uttama bhagavat, a jivan mukta maha purusa, satyavesa avatara, a personal associate of Radha and Krishna, Krishna parikara.
Our position as kanistha bhaktas and madhyam bhaktas is to assist the uttama bhakta, just as the hand assists the body. This has been stated by Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura.
In Srila Prabhupada’s Service,
Partha Sarathi Das Goswami
